Help please!?
I went out with this nurse (she works in hospital operating room) in mid August and had unprotected sex. First my feet are feeling cold since then and few wks later not sure how many maybe 6 wks later I had an episode of loose stool (only once a day) for few wks, no fever or any thing else. I am wondering is there a good chance that I was exposed to some sort of virus. And is there any link between cold feet and HIV and I had loose stool not diarrhea. Please advice

This sounds reaally far fetched. First, don't have unprotected sex with anyone!!!!!
There is no such thing as safe sex anyway, just safer sex, get it.
Now as far as viruses go if you need to put your mind at ease go get tested now and again in 6 mos. You most likely have a virus of another kind though, something you picked up from anyone. Cold feet are a symptom of thyroid problems, poor circulation and many minor and major problems. You could have eaten something bad, it is happening all over the country, food is not as safe as it used to be. Get a physical and blood work, and stool culture if you are still having a lot of problems with that to put your mind at ease. A bout of loose stool does not a disease make but many loose stools and ove a long period of time it could be something. I think you are being paranoid...because she was a nurse and may have been exposed? Well, anyone can pick up TB, Hepatitis C and other diseases from public places, not just nurses and their partners. Though she should have known better than to have sex like that, people do all the time. There is probably an epidemic and we don't know it because of all the visual stimulation from tv and the internet that young people don't think with their heads, they just do it. That is too bad. I would get tested and then relax and learn from this experience. Good luck.

I don't understand if you are this concerned, why would you have unprotected sex to begin with. Don't you know how dangerous that is in today's world? Your thinking with the wrong head. I don't believe they are signs of HIV. Be safe though, go get tested for peace of mind. Next time, use protction.
