Get some balls and talk about real issues, such as the fact that thousands of injured soilders are being forced to pay for their own way home, and their own doctor bills.

Search it and you will find it. I resent being compared to Cindy "primetime" Sheehan.

Just because you see them in your local base hospital don't mean crap. Don't be a mindless idiot, research it.

Hear hear! Good point. And we're not just talking minor injuries they will recover from. Many have amputations and a life time of disability that the goverment is not covering.

If soldiers returning from Iraq are not going to their local VA Medical center they are using their own money. But if they are truely disabled and get a service connection through the VA they will have their medical bills paid for, for life. Not only will their medical bills be covered, but their prescriptions too. I work at a VA Medical Center and I know what I am talking about. Don't be fooled when a Demlib tries to tell you that this country is not taking care of the troops, cause I can assure you we are. I support our troops all over the world and I work with vets everyday. I am a vet! U.S. Army 1991-1995

You really should know what you are talking about before you write something dumb like that! If you are in the military you have 100% medical paid for! Also the last time I checked if your active duty your flight in and out of Iraq is on a government plane!! I think I would know a little more then you on this seeing how I've been in for over 9 years! Do some research!!!

That is untrue. I know just going down to the base hospital I see alot of guys there that are being treated for injuries. And there is a huge VA hospital here and I see alot of guys going there too. You really don't know what you are talking about.

By the way YES I do want to support the troops since my husband and many friends are troops. If what you were saying was true I would've demanded my husband get out when his enlistment was up.

You people don't have a fkn clue what you are talking about. Go try visiting the nearest VA hospital to your home.

"Many have amputations and a life time of disability that the goverment is not covering"- Thats funny, they are getting their disability faster than people that were in Viet Nam. My neighbor is getting SS and military compensation for injuries sustained in the war in Iraq, Done within 6 months. I also have a friend I hunt with, that was in Viet Nam still fighting for his disabilty after 14 years for Agent Orange. I also help veterans get their disability so I know you are talking out your @ss!

Ahhh, yes... research... on the internet, where anyone can say anything. No solider is being forced to pay his own way home and his own doctor bills. I'm in the Navy, that doesn't happen.

Soldiers who are injured should be given free medical check-ups and medicines by the US government. Their return to USA must also be shouldered by the US Armed Forces. They served the country and must also be given what is due to them.

If you really want to support the troops you'd use as little oil, gas, as possible. It seems to me whenever I hear any troops talking on FOX news they all love Bush, the Republicans and his policies so I guess they are happy with their situation. Didn't most of them vote Republican even though the Republicans keep wanting to cut the budget for the Verterans Administration. You get what you ask for. Maybe should have had balls themselves and supported Democrat canidates. They might all have been home by now.

Yeah I don't really like it when people just stick a yellow ribbon and just put it like that...

But yeah there are a lot of former soldiers needing jobs, homes, and medical treatments and such.. I wish the US government starts taking better care for it's veterans..
