I would go and buy some of those paper-wrapped type of sausage, that are usually hanging on a hook in the cracker isle of the store.... Some cream cheese, and your favorite salsa..... Some Ritz crackers, some of those really good English brand craackers, and wheat crackers, .....For variety...... In the produce section, get some avocado's, one lemon, one lime, (depending on how many guests you'll be having). Some sour cream, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Swiss, and Monterey Jack.......Cheeses...... Take, and empty, the whole Cream Cheese pkg. or two, ( depending on how many guests, and pour about 1/2 cup, to two cups, measuring is not needed.... Get out your mixer, and mix the cream cheese and salsa, until (Pink) looking..... It has to be pink, not Red, or you've added too much salsa...... And place that dip in one of your nice dip dishes....... For the Guacamole...... Cut in half all of your avocado's, with a sharp knife, cut into the seed, then give it a twist,...... to pull out the seed, and throw in the trash... put a couple tablespoons of sour cream, some garlic powder, a good squeeze of lemon, and lime a tad of..... salt, to taste, the salt will enhance the guacamole...... Oh, get you some of those good tortilla chips, and like corn chips, some ruffles with wridges...... Strong chips, not, the kind that snap too easy..... So, they'll hold together good for the dipping..... Get some of those nice Festive Appetizer Paper Plates, and nice plastic Festive silverware...... Okay back to the guacamole...... You have your avocado's, your sour cream, your lemon & lime garlic and salt, after you've made your first cream cheese & salsa dip, just take a plastic bowl, and put some warm water in it, and turn on your mixer, and just give it a whirl in the warm water, to clean, to have it ready for your guacamole to be mixed...... Then go ahead and mix-up your guack....... And you could pick-up those nice plastic containers at any dollar store, or walmart, that have like sections, and there round with a round circle in the middle for dip, and sections, all around the sides...... Place some of those baby pickles, and some olives, and or some carrot sticks, already cut, and some celery sticks, and some, cucumber, slices, with some ranch in the middle, and along side of that platter you'll have a couple of bowls of chips, and in a couple of nice containers your guacamole already mixed, to taste to your liking..... Make sure you make the guac right before your guests arrive, and when its done mixing add a little squeeze of lime, to keep it from going brown...... And put see threw sullifane on top of it, nice and tight to keep air from getting in there..... Your cream cheese dip too. Refrigerate the cream cheese dip....... Oh, you could also make some, onion dip, for those "Onion-Lovers"....... Sour Cream and onion dip, in the paper pkg... you could probably, find the seasoning pkg on the chips isle...... its just a small little seasoning pkg.... Oh, and with the salami, or sausage wrapped in paper, just slice it with the paper on it, and stack the rings of salami like a peice half on top of another peice all the way around the ring of the platter, then do another ring of sliced cheeses mixed varieties on top of one another half way around the inside of the salami ring, and then you can decorate it all with some parsley peices in between to give it a "Festive look.....then put your sliced carrot sticks, celery and ranch, on a seperate platter, and some on the cheese one too, if you think it would look nicer..... Okay, Good-Luck, its all very simple & easier than you think...... And very pleasing to the eye, and YUMMO-LICIOUS!!!! Merry Christmas to you & Yours!! And a Very Peaceful, and Prosperous New Year to You & yours, as well !! Have Fun!!! Smile!!!
