well i have long hair and bangs but my bangs are off to the side oh! and get layers to. they always spice up the dew!!!

Try long layers. You great a great haircut and it's still long enough to pull back if you want. Be sure to go to someone who has lots of experience cutting layers though.

CAREFUL too many layers make long hair look thin.
if you do bangs make sure they are long so as to compliment your long hair.At least too the bridge of your nose.
