What moral code have I broken when I crticize Islam? Why should I follow this code...what juridiction does it have over me?

Am I wrong to hate the literal intolerance for non-muslims expressed in the Quran? Such as:

Quran 9:29 “fight (jihad) those who believe not in allah” http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/009.qmt.html

Quran 8:12 “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them. http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/008.q...

Only an idiot responds with "ye well da bible has dat". Idiot, even if the bible did have the PRESENT TENSE NON-ALLEGORICAL equivalent...why should that have any bearing on this (me) AGNOSTICS view of the horrible religion of Islam?

"The Quran doesnt mean what its says. Its says "fight those who dont believe" but its doesnt mean what its says". Idiot,I dont care what you think... I only care about how easily it can be interpreted in a violent way by the masses.

When a moon worshiper has his Unholy book criticized he is instructed to immediately turn the table and start a rant about the Bible.

Loosers will remain loosers - no matter how fast they breed.

The Book Of Quaranic Lies even states:
"Not Jesus, but a look alike, was substituted and crucified at the Cross." -4:157
THIS IS BLASPHEMY - AND A LIE! No proof can be offered at all.

Well, you asked for it so here's your long answer. ENjoy! :)

9:29 PICKTHAL: Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.

First off the word Jihad means a struggle so that doesn't mean physical fighting. But even still, it says UNTIL they pay Jizya. If you don't know what that means it is a tax non Muslims have to pay to live in a Muslim state. I know your probably thinking that is unfair; but all Muslims have to also pay a tax (Zakah) that non Muslims don't have to pay. It's 2.5% of our yearly earnings. If they pay their tax, they are under the full protection of our state against any invading countries. Nowadays almost no Islamic countries use the Jizya because it is more convenient not to.

8:12-13 Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."
This is because they acted adversely to Allah and His Messenger; and whoever acts adversely to Allah and His Messenger-- then surely Allah is severe in requiting (evil).

Did you ever care to read the next verse, you lazy dotard? You have a right to disagree with Islam but when you take these verses totally out of context to spread misconceptions and a heghtened growth of Islam you have no place on here. If you sincerely asked a question and open heartedly read the answer I'd be more pleased with you.

You said "I only care about how easily it can be interpreted in a violent way by the masses." Obviously (use your brain) there are 1.5 billion Muslims in this world who aren't going around killing people so the MASS MAJORITY aren't interpreting the way YOU are. Now, who do you think knows more about Islam; me (who's been Muslim all my life) or you??

what's wrong with being against any religion? It becomes a slippery slope if you put it that way. what would stop you from transfering hate from islamics to jews or christians? every religion has intolerance, don't just pick one to be against because of its intolerance, and also, just because it is mentioned in the Quran doesn't mean that every islamic person follows it. grow some damn tolerance, you are not the only person in this world, and the fact that you can't realize that makes you just as bad as any islamic fundamentalist.

According to the Koran anyone who is not for Islam is against it and no criticism can be accepted because Mohammad was the perfect example of human behavior and the Koran is an exact copy of the perfect book of Truth in Heaven.

That being said if you are a reasoning human being then there is nothing wrong in being against a religion that preaches hate for non believers, treats women and non-Muslims like second class citizens and matches all of the normal definitions of a sect.

Find me one example of where for example Jesus or Buddha said to go out and kill those who do not believe or follow your beliefs. Now compare this with the hundreds of examples that Mohammad gave his followers.

I can think of many reasons to criticize Islam.

Christianity has done its fair share of hate mongering crusades, execution of Thomas Aquinas, burning Joan of Arc at the stake, protestant reformation,Spanish inquisition, remaining silent on Nazi Germany etc. Other faiths are no less guilty . I think your premise is a little off the mark. It is not Islam we hate it is some of its followers for their actions.

The old catholic saying applies "Love the sinner, hate the sin". We have to do this to try to break the cycle of hate, but it will not be an easy or safe road.

First I wont do the ignorant thing and assume that you are a Christian as it doesn't matter .

Now to the question. there is nothing wrong with being against a religion. You should qualify more about why you disagree with Islam.

for example are you against it due to the fact that90% of all wars in the world now are between Muslims and neighbor countries that they cannot get along with?

Is it because that almost all Muslims want Islamic law in the countries where the immigrate?

Believe that no religion is right and it will be used in the wrong ways by a minority of people. The only reason you are against islam because it has become mainstream media to bash it. Islam has been the same for many a year and recently had light shed upon it only for the bad reasons.

If you are going to take it that way then be against Catholisim also. Priests have just recently done wrong to children. Does that make them all bad.

As Jesus said let he who hath not sinned cast the first stone - then Jesus picked up a rock and threw it at himself.

He quoted yet another guy or woman, someone who had fought Muslims and had his very own opinion of them. As for the Pope, i'm no longer Catholic, consequently i do no longer persist together with his lead. i'm an American and have faith in the suitable to unfastened Speech. He can say however he needs. regardless of the indisputable fact that, what i detect superb is that he costs yet another guy or woman, asserting that Muslims are murderers (particularly) and how the Muslims refute it is through sending dying threats to the Pope. i'm specific anybody who's in a faith, loves their faith. I see a great type of folk from the two sides asserting insulting issues approximately each others faith. consequently, I won't preserve the two factor.

well its not just being against any religion ..or islam...what really matters here is that we all live in the same world...if islam is against somethin ....then we'r also showin that as a proof of same type or similar reactions to hate and dislike.....specially if there is something which is harm to u ...is always a subject u wanna get rid....of and i think hundred and thousands of muslim's think the same way for different religions of the world......and we all are same we criticize...hate...dislike and all other similar actions by showin more agony and anger...to their countries and their people.....why cant we make this world a better peaceful place by not bothering anyone......at all....then we have no issues or any reason to hate anybodys religion......as long as it goes for ur question it doesnt make any sense by just sayin why cant u hate a religion........! u can do whatever ur mind tells u too.....but this has no bold strong relation with anybody else who doesnt think the same way....or by just hating ones religion u cant drag more people in by sayin what it says in their verse's ......i would suggest think better and nicer for everyone!

On your description(Quran 9:29 and 8:12).
I think that's a pretty good reason to hate that religion.
Christians sounds the same too though.
"You don't believe in Jesus? Then go burn in hell!"
That's what one of the Christians said to me for saying I am a non religious person. They didn't say I'll kill you, but that was pretty insulting.
