what about the somalis and the vietnamese the beat the americans too.
Korea was a draw with heavy american losses should we count that too?

They know the lay of the land better because they grew up there. Still Israelis are the best fighters hands down.

That's funny. Those conflicts were messed up by American politics. The Somali incident wasn't a war ... that was about twenty men against several thousand Somali's ... whom died by the hundreds. Americans suffer high losses because they try to be nice to the people of these countries, and treat people fairly. I think the Americans should change tactics more like the Great Khans. No rebuilding, just lay waste our enemies ... a 'scorched earth' method of warfare. The American have the most effective fighting force in the world easily, and anyone that understands military power knows this, the problem is that it is not used as effectively as it could be.

There would be no question that America has the finest fighting force in the world - if they were actually allowed to fight a proper war.

This is ridiculous. If we used the same approach to 9/11 that we did to Pearl Harbor, this "war" would be over. I'm sick of this spreading democracy bullshit. This country has not had the moral confidence to do what is right. You don't spread democracy - you impose it. Just like we did to Japan. Iran - you want to support Hamas, hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, and every other Islamo-Fascist terrorist group? Then it should feel the full force of the American military. Al-Sadr? Should have been dead already. Fallujah should have been laid to waste. Every other insurgent group in Iraq should have been annihilated. Iran's nuclear infrastructure should be a smoldering heap. Their leaders should be dead - Nazidimejad included. A two week bombing campaign of Iran would have been just the trick to get Syria in line as well.

Oh and just so I don't get accused of being "Islamophobic" - whatever the **** that means - that little **** in Pyonyang would have gotten the same treatment. And the hell with what Europe thinks. Europe is being overun by Islamic radicals, while the powers that be stand by and watch, preaching more tolerance for muslims and their ways. How about some muslim tolerance of Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, and every other non muslim?Meanwhile Christmas is being cancelled out of fear of stoking any more Islamic rage.

Believe me - if the U.S. leaders had the balls, the threat of Islao-Fascism would have been far more diminished than it is. Instead, we sit back and let these animals run wild in Iraq, Iran, Syria, massacre christians in Sudan, overun Somalia and threaten Ethiopia, Britain, Europe, and now in our own country. They call for the destruction of Israel, all the Jews, America, and Britain. And in the mean time, all the prersent day Chamberlains run around preaching diplomacy and "peace in our time." You don't negotiate or coddle radical extremists of any kind. It only emboldens them. You crush them like the bugs they are, and force the ones you don't kill to crawl back into their wholes for another fifty years.

Iraqi's, like their ex-dictator Saddam are cowards for the most part. They were beaten down badly and quickly. The resulting civil war was inevitable due to the factions involved.

Somalia was a weak kneed response by our government.

Vietnam was a war fought by politicians, not generals.

And the objective was met in Korea. Although had we allowed MacArthur to conquer the world after WW2, the Korean war never would have happened.

So, is this the value of a man? Is this all there is, how many can die before the dawn?

You know, if you were to ask just the regular person on the street in any of these places you mention; talk to the parents, the family trying to put food in their child's stomach, give them a bed to sleep where they are safe, and all share the dreams of just the common man, they would ask that this horrific slaughter be stopped!

No person enters this world with all this HATE and DESTRUCTION and DARKNESS in their heart, it is learned and handed from one fool to the next.

I dare you and others to take the first stand of saying they won't be part of the madness anymore and it can stop with me. It is that simple, quit buying into the lies from all sides.

Yeah, they are better fighters. They plant bombs on the roads and hope to explode them at the right moment. Remember the first time we rolled through their regular army in less than 100 hours. Yeah, they are real tough. They scatter every time a shot goes off. I have been there, i've seen them, they are not even worthy of being called fighters.

but remember its easy to win from the defending side in that case, because you usually have a large portion of the population supporting you and supplying you, while youre fighting basicaly representatives of another country far off..
plus all theyre doing is hit and run, not worrying about killing their own civilians either
the invading side has to focus more on policing and providing services to the population, so that they see life is better with the "invaders"

The Iraqis are actually chicken$h!t$ who do not fight and cannot fight. Blowing themselves up isn't brave. It's actually the easy way out for them, since they wouldn't know how to fight the americans head to head if the tactics sat on their faces.

We're losing because a bunch of civilians like Bush & Cohorts have never been to war (Bush specifically asked not to be sent overseas/Vietnam when he applied to the Air Force and was turned down so joined National Guard) and they don't listen to their generals.
