My cat has an allergy to something and it was never identified what. She sneezes big wads of snot (sorry, but it's a fact).

Anyway, you can take the temperature with an old-fashioned glass rectal thermometer. Normal for a cat is around 101 degrees. It could be something simple like an allergy, or an upper respiratory infection which can quickly become worse. Keep an eye on him.

I know this sounds gross but the way the vet does it is by taking the temp anally. I dont know what the normal temp for a cat is but I am sure you can look that up through a search engine. there is a lot of info on the internet, but that is about the only way you are going to find out, either that or call a 24 hour vet emergency place and they should be able to tell you what the normal temp is, just dont put the thermometer more than a half inch into the rectum

Elaine Wexler-Mitchell, D.V.M., says: Cats with fevers are generally lethargic and have no appetite. Although popular culture has led us to believe that a healthy cat has a cold, wet nose and therefore a warm, dry nose is indicative of a fever, this is not always true. Many conditions including environmental temperature and the cats state of hydration affect how cold and wet a nose is. If your cats ears feel hot to the touch she may have a fever. The only reliable way to determine if your cat has a fever is by taking her temperature. A cats normal body temperature is typically between 100.5 and 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Human ear thermometers are not reliable for taking your cats temperature due to the way they are calibrated and the different shape of a cats ear canal. There are special ear thermometers for animals that are useful with cats, but they cost several hundred dollars. The best and most economical way for you to take your cats temperature is by using a pediatric rectal glass or digital thermometer. Taking your cats temperature usually takes two people: one to restrain the cat and the other to insert the thermometer.

Conventional thermometers should be lubricated with petroleum jelly or water soluble lubricants such as K-Y Jelly and left in the rectum for two minutes. Digital thermometers are lubricated and left in the rectum until they beep. On hot days or if a cat is stressed, her body temperature may reach 103.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Veterinarians are concerned when temperatures reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. Aspirin is not routinely used to bring down a fever in a cat. If your cat does have a fever you should bring her to your veterinarian as soon as possible.

you can take a cat's temp rectally but they really don't like it my cat had a fever after he had his vaccinations ans he was warm i mean really warm and his ears were hot at the ends if u do take his temp be sure to put some type of lubricant on the tip before you insert it. a temp for a cat is usually 100 degrees they are higher than us. if it is more than 103 then call a vet immediately

First of all, what the heck is wrong with your typing?

Second, the only way to tell if your cat has a fever is to take his temperature rectally with a rectal thermometer. A normal cat temperature is between 100.5 to 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Definitely have your vet take a look.

There are several different things that will cause a cat to sneeze, including maggots or other parasites in the nasal cavities. If it continues for more that 3 days, and the animal in question is eating and drinking normally, you should take it in for an exam. If it's walking funny, or not eating right, take it in tomorrow.

Stick a temp thingy up tooby's butt or just see a vet.
I'd take it to the vet. Out cat got sick like that and it will cause brain damage if it's neglected.
Hope kitty is kicking soon.

Is he acting weird other than the sneezing? Rest doesn't really count. We all get sick at some point. I hope he feels better!
