So don't listen to it. Remember YOU married into the family. I suggest you learn a bit of tolerance. They created the man you married, if he is a good man they are the reason.

silly girl, it's not your place to judge them or tell them anything no matter how much you hate them complaining about money. I think you should just mind your own business about it because if you say something, no matter how nice you say it, they make take it to offense & may start disliking you as well. You don't want to cause any drama between all of you. People will complain about whatever & whenever, as long as it has nothing to do with you, then you got nothing to worry about. They are your in laws, even though they are not perfect, yet they are annoying, just keep that to yourself. Ignore them when they complain, but you still have to respect them. Whatever problem they have with money is their problem, not yours. So, don't start anything. It's not a good idea. You will just make trouble for everybody else if you do something. Worry about your own life.

And that's what you need to do. Talk with them, calmly, and tell them that their finances should be personal and kept to themselves. Tell them you were raised in such a way that, even between family members, some topics are off limits.

They may not even realize they're bugging you. You have to talk with them -- CALMLY -- letting them know you value your relationship with them. But tell them how you feel. Better to speak up now than let this destroy things between all of you.

Stay away from them.
Don't expect them to change
Don't ever give them money- make sure that you and your husband are on the same page about this.
Keep a list of homeless shelters handy if they become homeless - do not let them in your home
Go in another room and roll your eyes and scream into a pillow when you need to.
Don't let them own you.

It's none of your business. Stop listening and stay out of it. Do you honestly think your advice is going to change behaviors they have had since your spouse was born. Come on don't start trouble just ignore it and learn from their mistakes.
God Bless

Every time they complain you just say, "I'm so sorry--wow, I don't know what to say."

Say it each and every time they complain and they will get the picture. Sounds simple but it really is.

I wouldn't pay attention to it. Let it go in one ear, and out the other ear. Ignore their complaining.

You don't mention your husband. They are his parents. Does it bother him? He has known them forever. How does he cope? As a last resort, he could say something to them, maybe get them on another subject. He's your best outlet.

Complain back.

Just ignore them and be pleasant. If you want to allow them to upset you, that's your doing, not theirs. Change the subject.
