I get 11 with my 2002 F 250 with a V -10 an F-250 is a heavy duty truck its normal. When fuel prices went over 3 bucks a gallon. I bought a used 4 cyl Focus to drive when I don't need the heavy duty truck. I drive the truck one day a week to work. 3 gallons with the truck 1 with the Focus.

Do a tune up and change the air filter. Honestly though, it's a 3/4 ton truck 11mpg is pretty good. I wish my Ford got that good.

Air cleaner, though you would notice it, make sure the thermostat isn't stuck open, the colder the water, the more fuel it burns
