My fiance is a chiropractor and has taught me a few excersises to do to flatten my stomach....you have to start with the most bottom layer of muscle called the tranverse adominis...to work it you have to activate it...its like pulling in your pelvis towards your back....I started doing this and within a week i could tell a difference. There are also several back strengthing excersises that people with lower back problems do that will make your abs rock hard. The crunch is a big one...you lie on your back and put your legs up as if you are sitting in a chair lying down and pull your pelvis up as far as you can...probably not very far...I know i cant...but imagine a string attached to the ceiling pulling that part up...and lift your head and shoulders slightly and hold for a few seconds. There is also a great resource in Mens Health has a magazine that my fiance found that is dedicated to Abs.. iwth pictures and everything...its great..you can also look at their website (see links below). Spend $20 and get you one of those excersise balls...good luck and have fun!!!

Running, you can only have a six pack if there is no fat covering your ab muscles. Running is a great way to build muscle and get that slim look quickly.

Crunches--just make sure you keep your neck and head level and are using your abdominal muscles. Be sure to strengthen your back as well though. You can work both by doing supermans. Lay flat on your stomach and lift your head, arms, and legs off the ground and hold for maybe 10-20 seconds. Repeat.

I found that the best way to get a six pack is to go to the liquor store and buy it. Get some shots while your at it

to get a slim look you need to have a low percentage of fat. I would suggest do pushups to get at least an athletic look. then to build your triceps do narrow push ups and elbows to your sides to build your arms. Then you could do sit ups, crunches, jacknives. I would suggest start doing push ups first so you get a little bit more buff then start with sit ups.

run at least a mile a day it works. ifyou can't run he full mile walk a couple at least to make up for it. do lots of push ups and pull ups. find something to bench. like i do i bench my friend steaven.i just lay on a board with bricks on each side to hold me up and i lift him up. you can also pick up stuff and gain mucels with heavy stuff i got a eight pack doing this for three months .good luck

crunches, sit-ups, and use decline benches to increase resistance. You can hold weights in your arms to also increase resistance, but not too much. With Abdominal muscles your main focus is usually definition and to achieve that, you need to do high repetitions.
