If God exists, then hes the only one that cant know anything absolutely...especially about the most mysterious thing in the world...whether there is a God.

Isnt it funny through the the most ignorant amongs us are the most self righteous and most willing to declare a certain knoweldge about the very thing we have the most unertainty about?

Listen to the worlds most ignorant people...the Jihadists. Islamic countries have the highest illiteracy (see UNDP Report)...these are literally the most igorant peoplke in the world, and yet, they have are the most self righteous and most boastful having certain knowledge of the existance of good and the unquestioned perfect of the Quran (the dumbest book you can imagine).

I am agnostic and recognize that other religious people have the same problem, albeit to lesser degrees or certainly, much less dangerous consequences.

Nothing wrong with acting like God if you happen to believe God is good and not evil like the abrahamic religions describe and follow. Woody Allen said that in one of his movies -- if you are going act like somebody who would be a better choice to act like. It's more a karma thing to me. I do believe there is some strange thing built into most animals, not just humans, to do the right thing. We eat sharks and sharks eat us but it isn't personal. as my old uncle was often saying, everythings got to eat. Grasshoppers, fish, etc. they all gotta eat. Not evil and not bad. Yet people agree for the most part on what is evil. People do things a lion with his pride wouldn't do. Wouldn't torture other lions. wouldn;'t abandon the kittens. nature built that in. maybe evolution answers that but whatever, people generally understand when reminded to do the right thing. does you philosophy allow for this? are you so sure that you know what you are talking about? because i don't think you do. i think you are a child.

Boasting and knowing are two different things..

When a wise man was approached by a student and asked if he God really existed..the man didnt even bother answering.

Similarly, when we say we know God exists...we do nothing more than echo our own experiences..some of us having been saved by horrifying accidents by a mere prayer..or having made out of unbelievably hard conditions because they believed if they prayed..God would save them.

But the truth is..a man with knowledge also knows...that when your time is up..its up. No prayer will save you..doesnt mean that God doesnt exist...just means that Gods existence is really for our own sanity and peace of mind...not really His.

By informing us of His existence...we are saved from having to believe completely in perishable things like money, like friends, like family which all eventually die.

But the power to believe in something that never fades away ..and is the owner of everything..puts an unexplanable peace into the heart of many a man.

For man was created to believe completely without wavering...either in himself...which eventually dies...or either in that which doesnt.

I feel God. I do not know if he exists for certain or not. I do not know and I am fine with it that way. I do not need that much knowledge right now. I am only a human. I have enough to deal with already. I have acted self-righteous before and most likely wanted to be a know-it-all but not a God. Its just impossible for human beings.

The Bible recognises the existence of the Canaanite god Ba'al in numerous places. definitely that Christian monotheism originated in the deserts of Egypt which replaced into earlier Polytheist. consequently the early followers have been on very close look after for the old impacts. In later situations the Egyptian strategies have been tempered with the strategies of Zoroastrianism with its bi-polar precise/incorrect mentality which continues to be the lynchpin of Christian morality to this day. till now that it replaced into ordinary obedience consequently Commandments, Deuteronomy and so forth.

But if God exists, isn't it within His power to transcend human limitations and give those whom He chooses an assurance of His existence. I'm not asking you whether that's true or not, just wondering if you'll at least admit that that is possible. God fearers range from simple minded to hard minded philosophical thinkers. It has little to do with intelligence.

Maybe, just maybe man is god. I feel that the big bang scattered the bits of god throughout the universe. Therefore everyone is there own little tiny piece. Religions give the people power to attain that holier than thou attitude. This is what I object to.

If I claim that a space shuttle exists, does that mean I am claiming that I am an astronaut?

You seem unwilling to accept the testimony we have concerning God. With most Christian (myself included) God has revealed himself to us in many ways including miracles. Since God is the only deity capable of performing miracles, it is the only plausible explanation.

Now I may share in some ways in your assessment of Islam, but just because that region is downtrodden doesnt mean their message is false. I would argue that they have never seen a miracle nor believe in them. Muhhamad himself was asked before to do them as a sign God was with him (as he did with other prophets) and he refused.

It all comes down to whos testimony are you going to accept? If God is as powerful as he says he is, does he not have the power to reveal himself? Is it possible in your case he simply hasnt done it yet?

I will answer this with a question- do you act like those you know? Of course not- however God is the One that existed before any of us thought up questions and will continue too, no matter how we act. The amazing part about your question is that if you know God through His Son you will want to be like Him.

dude the claims you are making are way out of perspective. one thing I have noticed is that athiest and agnostics also have a higher opinion of themselves than those who believe in their faith (regardless of their illiteracy, math skills, or belief system), which makes them think that they are higher than the God that created them and the people that they criticize.

open your eyes the world is a much better place when it's not being criticized by overzealous, and imperfect people.
