I am 16 and I drive a porsche. Why do guys assume I am rich?? I live in barrington IL, and all my friends drive porsches or bmw's. Why does it symbolize wealth??
Why does it matter if I drive a porsche or a beater?? Guys love my car. Why stereo-type a person by what car they drive??
Do you really think a porsche is a symbol of wealth?? I think not.

You didn't have to give your age because your question is very silly and juvenile.
Come back when you've grown up.
Money doesn't equal intelligence.

Well, thats easy. You drive a car that costs tons of cash. Poor people rarely get that priviledge; take that from a poor guy :) Anywho, people judge people by what they have because its easier than spending time and risking hurt by finding outWHO someone is. Don't let it bother you, but if you have a problem with people doing that, sell your car and drive a nice Saturn or something. If you walk around with diamonds on, people will judge you like a rich person, so wear no diamonds if it bothers you.

It is disappointing that although wealth can be used to buy things such as prestige German sports cars it has limited use in buying friends, or indeed a quality education. If all the people around you have good cars what is the problem?

I live in California- Porsches are is a dime a dozen, most driven by people who still live with their parents. Sorry, a teenager who gets their parents to buy them what's basically a Volkswagen doesn't impress me. I'd assume your dad makes under $50K a year as a middle manager
