They probably use letters so that the sizes are a number and a letter. Like 34B, meaning 34 inches around, cup size B. Otherwise, you'd have something like 34-2, which could be more confusing.

maybe because the first letter is the smallest and the last letter is the largest. For example A is the smallest B is the small-medium C-medium large D-large DD-larger than large

Well you start off from AA A, B, C, D, then you can have the DD, the Triple D, F's, G's (same as the d, with your double and triple) and even some stores go up to H's.

Because the band size is already a number, so having more numbers for the cup size will just be confusing, so they use letters instead. HTH : )

depends on what you see if you see abc cant help ya but if you see s its for small l for large and sl for superlarge
