Have just moved and really want to get cable tv/broadband installed. Sky seem to be offering the best deals but don't currently have a landline.
In my last place BT charged me a small fortune to install a landline so just wondering if anybody else can do it.

Don't have any form of landline connection as yet so not a case of flicking a switch somewhere, and can't get NTL where I live.

NTL only charge £25 for connection. Got to say tho, they are not as reliable as BT and their customer services leave a lot to be desired. If you already have a BT connection box at your new place it won't cost much at all if anything. They only have to flick a switch at their end. It only costs when there's no existing connection which is quite unusual as most people have had a phone at some point. Have a good look around and see if you can see the white box on the wall with BT written on it! Good luck!!

if you dont have a bt line it will be £124.99 installation charge and if you cancel within 12months there will be a £18cancellation charge, bt do offer a monthly payment plan which helps to break down the charge give them a call and see what they can do!
