No coincidence dear its the work!

Your in an environment that your skin is just soooo not used to. You'll need to put some ointment or good lotion to protect that skin from the exposure. You should probably have it covered as much as possible while your working!

Vaseline might help but if the skin gets so dry like it sounds try at night to put some Mentholatum (yeah the Vicks sorta stuff) on the dry skin and cover it up as much as possible. It'll make your skin baby soft in no time but ya still gotta protect it with a good ointment before work.

Ask a couple of people who have been there awhile perhaps they have some advice that will benefit you being a noobie and all. Those people who have been there sooo long are there cuz they have been able to hack the job that long and you know they have to have had the same trouble in the beginning as are you. So listen with a good ear and take some notes if necessary your not the first one to get that dry skin from the plant but lets try to make you the first one to have gotten smart and helped your skin be saved at the same time!
