I have always steamed my face using hot water and cotton wool balls. Boil a kettle of water, when boiled pour in a bowl, cover your head with a towel and then let the steam get to the spots do this for about 10/15 minutes, use cotton wool to dab you face and you will see the muck and grime come onto the cotton wool ball and your spots should be gone within a few days..

best way, wash regularly(not that im implying anything) get a rough sponge so that you can gradually take them away. other than that, just your normal spot lotions. clearasel spot lotion was always my favourite. theres no point in gettin sumin expensive, in my experience its all the same anyway!
