The only thing i ever want to see frosted in a salon is a client bringing me a cake!! ;)
Frosting in an old term that usually ment pulling hair through a cap and bleaching it. which is still done but usually rarely and is called a cap highlight.
Highlighting is much more advanced now and can be accomplished using baylage (hair painting) using sponges and other tools to place the color and many different foiling techniques. I do sometimes have an older woman call in for a "frost" appointment, but that is really a thing of the past. HTH

What is in style is whatever looks good on you. If you look good with frosted hair no one is going to say otherwise.

I loved frosted hair, especially chocolate. Sometimes vanilla, it's just not as tasty.
