A patient and persistent application of heat. Take a washcloth, boil some water, put the tip of the washcloth in the water, and gently apply to the center of the "bump". Stop when it gets reddened or painful. Then go back an hour or whatever later, and do the same thing again. Eventually, the cyst will erupt out.

Another possibility is draw-out salve. Go to your pharmacist and get ichthammol ointment 20 percent, also known sometimes as draw-out salve. This will pull the infectious stuff, the pus, out of the skin. It's powerful, though, discontinue if you get lymph gland swelling near where you're applying the stuff. There are commercial, expensive preparations of ichthammol, and cheap, generics. Talk to the pharmacist. They can get you the $3 generic so you don't have to buy the $6 OTC version.

The best thing you can do is apply a warm compress often until it comes to a head. I would not suggest using boiling water, hot tap water is fine. You can then get over the counter benzoyl peroxide and apply to the area twice a day to help kill bacteria growth. If you get these often you should see an esthetician or skin care specialist. They can help you to heal by using what is ccalled High frequency current to help heal the blemish. They are also trained in how to extract the head without damaging the skin and scaring your face. Good Luck

Washcloth with as hot of water as you can stand it and put it over the area, holding on the area for awhile, and then using more hot water as it cools. I don't remember how long to do this, but this will help the pimple come to a head which will help it to clear up easier.
