It comes down to faith and love. Without faith it's impossible to please God. He will guide you to the place He want you to serve Him, so have faith and listen.. I mean really listen. Put all other matters from your mind and listen. He will direct you on how to move closer to Him in love. Jim

Don't fall for the "walking on water" gag.

By seeking Him in prayer and word. By praying for HIM to teach you and fully relying on the Holy Spirit to teach you, and not let yourself get in the way. To fully surrender to Him, and humble yourself before Him each day...I like to wake up singing praise songs- in my head, or sometimes out loud. Feed your spirit spiritual food, that is God's word, and bible study is a good place to start, do you belong to a church? The Lord has much to teach you and wants your time and love. For we were made for Him!

Acts 6:4
But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word."
