I am 16 and I drive a porsche. Why do guys assume I am rich?? I live in barrington IL, and all my friends drive porsches or bmw's. Why does it symbolixe wealth??

nice try. you already know why. stop fishing for sympathy because you are from a family that can afford to give you a Porche. plus i believe it's your parents who are rich, not you.

Let me explain this the best way I can.....
Where I come from which is middle class suburbia, we don't drive Porches or BMWs, especially when we are 16. People associate you with wealth because you drive an expensive car and something has to pay for it. Guys like your car because it goes fast but be careful and don't let them think the same of you. It must suck to be you.

Maybe because you are so young owning a car so expensive that some people even twice my age can't even dream about owning and maybe will never own.
