My fiancee always tells me how important I am to him, and how much he loves me, but he doesn't act like it at all. He is very insensitive and impatient with me, and doesn't seem like he really needs me around. I have tried talking to him about it and he doesn't think that there is anything wrong with the way he is acting. I do not want to break up with him, because he has told me on several occasions that if I did, it would absolutely break his heart. So I want to try a different approach- I want to be so desirable to him that he won't be able to stand being apart from me or making me upset. I want him to be absolutely addicted to me and want to do everything in his power to please me. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for this, or perhaps books or websites that might be able to help me with this?

from a man: your looking at it all wrong. do you know why he says he wants to be with you? could be because he loved you, but then he wouldn't treat you like what he does. Probably because he likes sex with you. But sex usually doesn't last all day, so therefore he won't need to be nice and appologize all day. I know that when i'm mad and say mean things, about 20mins later i go, ****, i'm not gonna be gettin any tonight. I rethink it, go damn i'm an ***, i'm sorry. It took marriage and a kid to get me to realize HOW MUCH i was hurting her before i stopped. This is not your fault, it's his. If he doesn't like you the way you are you have to decide if he's worth it. Most of the time they aren't. If you decide he is, you have to do this Tell him (which you did), tell him that your going to give him time to change, ( he will say he souldn't have to change) and you should tell him that if he wants to stay with you he will. You decide in your mind how long you'll give him, when that time is up, step back and see if he tried hard enough. Also, try to look at it like this. Would your Mom like this guy if she knew what he does and says to you? Or your dad, grandma, anyone close to you. Love is blind, but they aren't.
