I think -yoememe 101- pretty well covered one kind of love. What about loving ice cream, God, grand children, friends. Agape is the type revealed in the Bible, but what of the others like erros, philios, and ice cream.

Tell you how I love ice cream. It is a forever type thing. I would lick my little ice cream into submission anytime anyplace. I gaze upon ice cream as if it were the desire of my soul (its not really,, this is creative licience). The taste of ice cream verily melts in my mouth yielding deep sighs of gratification. her taste lingures on my lips and when I walk away I can not help but look back and yearn for one more Kiss of the creany goodness. I walk hand in hand with ice cream in the garden and smell not the roses as the taste of her enthrawls my very being. Oh ice cream I will love you forever and scoop you up if ever you should feel like this cold life is weighing you down and caress you with warmth that makes you melt in my rough hard hands. Such is my love for ice cream that I would rather lick her creamy goodness than entertain myself in any other way.
this is what happens in a mans head when his honey visits her mother for too long

Hidy -hi, bless you snuggles

oh yeah the measure part is where I look back as I walk away. That is a sure sign of at least infatuation, and it is what I do when I put my Bible down and walk away cuz my old eyes are too tired, and of course there is curly sues measurment which is if the person lets you eat first. That look to is a measurment and a dead give away showing when love is going to turn to work and commitment which previously had not been contemplated. Also dead give away that the fleeting brand of love is gone and things have probably gone past the retrevable limits is when it aggrevates one to see the other eat, where as in the beginning it gives one a good feeling when the situation has become weary one finds watching the other eat becomes irritating.

That has got to be one of the hardest things anyone has to do.
I dont know if I've ever taken a glance at someone and tried to find out as much as i could about them, but I guess there's at least one occasion when we see something, we note something special beneath them you never realized before.
I'd say yes...but very little.

1 Corintians 13:
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, (love) is not pompous, it is not inflated,
5 it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury,
6 it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.
7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails.

For me the only way to measure the Love is that.....see if you are ready to scarifies everything for that person or not and yes without any expectations in return? If answer is yes...its true love....

i always considered love to be infinite, or at least drawn from a place beyond material reality... the only way that i can offer any notion of proof to this description is:
ask: "Do you love (insert name here - mother, father, brother, sister, lover, etc...)?
they answer: "yes."
ask: "Prove it."
