I am not understanding my relationship with God! I have been through a series of hellish events this past week! Just to give you background, I have been screwing up on my internship costing me my credibility, my car completely stopped in the middle of traffic and it's brand new, then I got to work and made the boss mad because she didn't see the email I sent her stating I would be gone in the morning. After I was dismissed I got a traffic ticket. Since then I have come to odds with God. Just like you get mad with your parents, I am mad with him. Is he trying to tell me something? I have always put him first and I am beginning to think that there is no God! What am I striving for if all will happen is me getting striked? I have been feeling awkward lately with the person I am and how I fit in with society. I have been asking for guidance but he is nowhere to be found. Someone help me understand this thing called life?

You need to go into a quiet room and read the book of Job. Do it. God is teaching you- trying to humble you- you need to continually wait on Him- for that is His will, and who knows, you could get an answer tomorrow and everything could turn back around- but do not blame God- remember if you truly love Him, then you will wait on Him and His will. We all get frustrated and upset, but it is THEN that you continue to pray and seek God- even if you have felt no answer in ages...God hears the prayers of a righteous person- as the Bible says. Do not give up hope in Him, that is exactly what the enemy wants you to do....he is attacking you into doubting God. Fight back with scripture and really read the book of Job- I know you probably have read it, but it is a good lesson and WHAT faith Job had, and look at how much God blessed him in the end~ Also know that your situation is NOTHING compared to what Job went through and there are many people out there who are going through a lot worse- when you have Christ Jesus and you love Him and trust Him, you have NOTHING to complain about- really. When I start to complain I remind myself this>Psalm 51:12
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Psalm 130:5
I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope.

Psalm 143:8
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Wow, I finally found someone who is feeling exactly like I am at this very moment. And, it's probably no coincidence. Maybe God is up to something.

I won't go into all my garbage, I'll just try to keep it light with sort of a funny saying I've heard about God. It also contains a very real message. So, in answer to your original question, no, I don't think you can make God mad. And my saying, for what it's worth, is simply this: "If you want to make God laugh, go ahead and tell Him your plans."

Hang in there. Maybe try reading a few Psalms. God bless you man.

God is Spirit, and interior of you is residing the Spirit of God. The Spirit is nearer to you than your physique or your strategies. The Spirit of God is residing in all it is. no longer something is extra constructive for you ,than this Spirit called God. God is the eternal Manna from which love excels. it is your option to settle for or reject that that's residing interior of. this would be a deep and mysterious experience,so attempt to no longer pay attention to fools, who see no longer the sacredness of our Being in this worldwide.

No. There is no anger in Perfection.
Why are you blaming God for your misfortunes?
Ask yourself if you are really doing God's will.
"They are but the redirecting cataclysms which wreck one's temporal creations preliminary to the rearing of the more noble and enduring realities..."

I think the question of "is there a god" should be determined by something other than "I had a really bad day."

If you sin, you may have to pay the consequences. Like prison and so forth...
