I have a very easy and delicious recipe for chicken with fruit sauce: Cook thin pieces of chicken(cutlets are good) in a pan with some butter or oil. In a small pot, heat fruit jam with some vanilla extract and citrus zest, if you have it. Any type of jam will work, but I usually use raspberry. Hope whatever you make turns out great!

If you need to shop, you don't have time to cook chicken--you need to think PASTA.
Pick up the sauce and spaghetti and a bag of frozen meatballs at the grocery store while you are on your way home from shopping, then add some bread and salad.
Heating the meatballs in the microwave takes only 3 or so minutes, then simmer them with the sauce while you cook the spaghetti.
Do the bread next--only make it special by adding Italian seasonings to the butter and some sliced mozzarella cheese the last few minutes.
Finish it off with bag salad that you've thrown into a bowl. Wa-La-a home made meal in under 30 minutes.

Well, I would suggest baked chicken, thats pretty hard to mess up :) With maybe a baked potato, and veggies. A salad or garlic bread would be good with it also. Or, maybe grilled chicken breast over linguine with alfredo sauce. Super easy! Just get the alfredo sauce in a jar, will be in the isle with the spaghetti sauce in the grocery store. Boil the linguine with some butter in it and I always put garlic powder in when I am boiling it. After the chicken breasts are grilled, add the sauce and let it simmer for a few min. then serve. That would also be good with a salad and garlic bread. Just grill the chicken ahead of time and the whole meal will take 15min. Hope this helps. Good luck and happy holidays!

Go to grocery store and buy McCormick pot roast seasoning packet (where the taco seasoning packets are) (abt. $2) then buy 1-2lb chuck roast, a couple of potatoes, and a handful of those baby carrots in the bag. follow directions on back of packet which is basically stuff the meat, cut potatos, and carrots in the provided oven bag add the seasoning pack and add 1 cup of water. throw in oven, 350, and forget about it for an hour. will be delicious and since its cooked in a bag its really juicy and there's almost no way to mess it up.
