theres a girl i like and i always mess aaround with her. Im not popular but she is. She acts like she doesnt like when i hang out with her but...idk....well she always flips her hair at me and i act like its annoying just so i can see her do it. btw shes really pretty. but she says flipping your hair isnt flirty but i cant tell if she likes me or not.

Hair flipping can be done flirtatiously, but it can also be done with contempt... so sometimes its hard to read what the girl is trying to say when she does the hair flip.
You can generally tell by what her eyes and face are doing.
Is she looking cutely at you? is she smiling when she does it? Those are signs she's flirting.
If she's looking away from you, frowning, or not smiling when she does it - it may be a sign of contempt.
It does sound like the two of you are flirting - you acting annoyed, and her repeating the behavior.

i think hair flipping has always been a sign of a girl trying to flirt with you; however, it can become a habit and then they do it all the time. It depends on the other body language/signals she is giving off, along with her hair

Flipping or stroking her own hair is a "cling to/go away from Mom"...it is not that she is into you, it is she has issues with her mother and likely being friendly to you because your bring out a motherly instinct in her.

It can be one of three things: she could be flirting with you, just doing it because her hair is in her face, or because she thinks your ugly and is just trying not to see you, truth be told us women are hard to figure out. lol, but if she smiles the smallest of a smile and maybe even looks at you for just a quick sec then she is probable flirting with you. good luck!

I have a habit of flipping my hair, it is not meant to be flirty.......I'm sure some women do though

ACTUALLY, HAIR FLIPPING IS DUE TO THE CUT OF THE HAIR STYLE.
THE FLIPPING IS A NATURAL WAY OF GETTING THE HAIR OUT OF OUR FACE AND EYES SO WE CAN SEE YOU BETTER. THATS ALL.
