Victories and losses aren't measured in lives; which is something a lot of lib-socialists have a very difficult time accepting. Victory is when the goal is achieved. Part of it has been achieved and the rest could be done rapidly if the PC police would allow our military to do ALL that is necessary. Lib-socialists are scared of that because they don't want to hurt anyones "feelings".

And what's your marvelous plan? Just pull out now, and leave an unstable government behind? Proving yet again that America can't handle a fight? Iran is showing signs of wanting to get rid of their hard-line government. A premature withdrawal from Iraq would most likely send the message that democracy can't work in the Middle East.
Our armed forces are all volunteer. Re-enlistment is up - the very people who are getting shot at, running the gauntlet of IEDs daily, watching their friends die, these very same people believe enough in what they are doing to re-enlist. Who the hell are you to question them?

There is no victory when people are dying for nothing.
Even if it were a terrible illness, some of the deaths might save the rest of us-
There is no point in Iraq. I want them all home- and let those crazy *&^^% continue killing each other till there is not one fanatic left.
That ought to keep them busy a while.

I would say yes, probably more will have to die to gain victory over Islamofascist savages who are determined to exterminate every last one of us unless we convert to their Satanic religion. We are at war with an unrelenting group of fanatical terrorists who will stop at nothing to conquer the West and all we hold dear. Or have you been asleep for the last 27 years?

It will be victory when the Iraqi government is stable. This hatred is annoying. We don't want soldiers to die. Sometimes war is unavoidable and we are forced to stay there.

well how about the 15,000 plus victims to drunk drivers that are killed in the US EVERY YEAR!!!!!
I don't hear anybody up and arms about that....oh wait a minute that's because the media doesn't cover those kind of stories......My bad.
