I'd have to agree with Westcydr. Islam itself is just another monotheistic religion much like Judaism and Christianity. The Allah differs from Yahweh (Jehovah) in how he is venerated by his followers and not by his actions. Therefore it's the followers and their actions that is definable in the very basic "good or bad" model. All human institutions are neutral until the spark of humanity touches them, that's when all hell breaks loose.

Islam is good, like most other religions are good. It's the few evil people in every religion who make things bad for everyone else.
Those who practice Islam properly will tell you it is a religion of love, faith, submission, modesty and peace.

It is beautiful and peaceful, when practiced in its true form, like Christianity. It is sad that the extremists have tainted TRUE Islam. Islam is peace.

not sure, there are many verses where muhammad commands his followers to wage "holy war" on non muslims if they don't convert> moderate muslims should rexamine their texts> Islam will be a religion of peace once everyone submits to its rule>

well, if you ask a christian, he may say bad. also, if you ask a muslim the same question about christianity, he may probably say bad, thats peculiar to all religions.
