I would try Cake Girls. Their cakes look beautiful.

Bittersweet also makes cakes that look good but I have tasted their cakes on a few occassions and they were really dry and had no taste.

Dinkels may taste good but they sure don't look very good.

Same with Bulldog Bakery...not much talent in their "desgn" capabilities.

I had my wedding cake made by Lutz Bakery on Montrose. It was really good. Bittersweet on Diversey is also really good but a completely different kind of cake. Bittersweet makes modern pastries that are more like flourless chocolate cakes, etc. Lutz makes classic fluffy cakes like my grandmother made.

Bittersweet on Belmont is FANTASTIC! The cakes are unusual and modern. Dinkels is a good bet if you want something more traditional (grab some donuts while you are there too - they rock!)
