female, I tend to trust them more for some reason.

If you have a problem in that area then either doctor and damn quick
Whatever it it you need to get it sorted and therefore go to the doctors it does not matter male or female they've seen it all before.
Including the occasional stiffy

You all sound very immature. i'd chosen an older male known practitioner over a lady any day. For one, I have under no circumstances even seen my known practitioner ought to or will be gay and a pair of he has the same elements as I benefit this he would understand what's erroneous. finally if a lady touched me there i'd ignore what I went in for lol

As a 40 year old woman I have had both male and female physicians in my life. I prefer a woman as my GYN only because she understands the issues that men can't/don't "just get." Other than that, i have no preference as long as they are competant in their field.

Female - they appreciate the need for warming up the instruments! Doesn't really bother me too much anyway - male or female, they've seen it all before

Ohhh, sista06, he can examine me anytime too, but since he isn't a dr and doesn't yet play one on tv, I will stick with the female dr that I currently see.

Assuming they were well qualified, I'd prefer a woman - what would motivate a man to become a gynaecologist ? Can't think of any reason with which I am comfortable.
