Focus on what you are doing, such as work, etc. Remain calm and silence the jokes. When one comes into your head, catch it and save it for a more appropriate time. If the time is appropriate, then by all means, joke around.

I do the same thing, and I find it amusing. Unfourtunently it is embaressing. Although I don't care what others think of me, the lack of friends kills me. My advice;kill your origanality cause people will always find a way to critizize you.
