Hi Pinimyag,

A lucid dreamer is aware that they are dreaming and can take control of their dreams and choose what will happen in them or what they will do in them.

If you can make your dreams change to suit yourself and have control of things in your dreams then you are a lucid dreamer.

Cheers!

In 1998, I ran a fever of 106 for two weeks while on life support and in a coma for six weeks, due to a Streptococcus infection of my heart. Parts of my brain got cooked. According to a neurologist, it appears my brain reconfigured itself and moved the active area to a new spot in my cerebral cortex.

Ever since than, my dreams have been lucid to where I have some limited control and the point of view that I know that I'm dreaming. The dreams I had while in the coma were very real and I still remember all the details.

My dreams are now very detailed, and in color. Something of interest, when I need to use the bathroom at night, it shows up in my dreams and than I wake up. It is fortunate that I can no longer get out of bed easily, due to the damage done by the illness, otherwise I would likely be sleep walking, something I did prior. My ex-wife use to say that the best sex we had was while I was asleep.

One who has a dream and knows they are dreaming. They have clear dreams (another word meaning lucid) and can often manipulate the dream. Lucid dreams feel very real, but you know they're not.

You'll be thinking "this is some crazy stuff" inside your dream. It's weird talking to people in your dream and knowing they're not real.

Oh, you'll know. Sometimes you act as you desire, often the objects feel real, and so forth...
