I have a head shaped like a square. I jave a rather short forehead. My hair is wavy. I also have really dark eyes....should i get bangs...i was thinking about the thin kind. should i ?

Go with sideswept bangs! They will add some length to your face, look great, and add flare to any style! If you get sideswept bangs, consider getting them gently tapered or curved inwards towards the jaw to help soften the square jawline. When well-cut, side swept bangs can help soften all angles of the face. Avoid blunt-cut bangs because they will make your faace look even more square!

I think that thin bangs look good on almost any face shape. Also if you have a cowlick at the front of your head it helps to hide it. Give it a try. If your hair is long take some of it and just hold it over the top of your forehead and see how it looks. Hair will always grow back if you dont like it.

I got bangs sometime during the summer. They reached to about my eyebrows but I have a longer forehead so they weren't too short. I have the square-shaped head like you do, and wavy hair. My eyes are a lighter brown....... Honestly, they looked REALLY good, but they were a pain in the butt to do since I wasn't really used to them. I ended up growing them back out.

Okay, thin bangs only work on circle and oval faces, u need a longer forehead. i would suggest u get side bangs, get them cut to about 1/2 an inch below your eye. so that the tips of your bangs brush your cheek bone, get them angled! have fun with them. this way, u can always clip them back. striaghten your bangs.

Yeah, I think you should. I would probably bring out your eyes more, especially if your hair color is a drak brown like your eyes, or darker, but layered or thick bangs would look good.

bangs are out this season. i have layered hair that i straighten CONSTANTLY. the thin kind are good i think for side bangs the thincker ones are meant to hang in your face!

If you do get bangs, get them on the thinner side and longer side so that if you don't like them it doesn't take too long to grow them out. You can ALWAYS get them cut shorter!
