A better question, my friend:
How many world religions proclaim or prophesy a universal Messiah that fits the description of Jesus Christ?

Answer: They ALL do. Mythologies and religions across time and culture invariably make some reference to a future savior, or a divine break in the vicious cycle of human suffering that will bring peace to humanity and the world. That is the beauty of Christ, is that "every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess." Christianity is not the only faith that claims Jesus Christ -- they all do if Jesus is taught as a Universal Messiah and not a copyrighted idol belonging to a few. If Jesus is indeed the King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords, then all Lords, Laws, and Leaders on this earth will one day join together in the spirit of Christ and be as one; there will be no more Jew nor Greek, bond nor free, male or female, but all will be made one in Christ Jesus.
All tribes will be as neighbors, and the church or "people" will be made whole.

Salvation is closer than you think, and we have only to accept it to make it manifest more fully in our lives. Those who already have, who embrace each other as neighbors in Christ regardless of culture or creed, already live in Grace among the Kingdom of God where there is peace on Earth. May you find this spirit this Christmas Season and throughout the New Year. God bless you and keep you in the highest.

Yours truly,
Emily Nghiem

A whole bunch!

Mithras and Dionysus/Bacchus are just for starters!

I think Heracles and Heru/Horus can meet some of the requirements as well.

(Note: all of these other Gods pre-date Christianity.)
