I would be shocked if this thing you are speaking of occured in the US. Radical Islam in the Middle East, however, is a fact of life, much more so than in the US, were everyone has the right to religious freedom.

i don't blame them coz you've done a really really really bad thing. And they are probably angry because firstly when people find out that you've converted it'll give your parents a bad name which will make them look down in shame wherever they go. Secondly in islam (if you still think it's a 'lie') any one who has a muslim daughter that girl(you) is a ticket for their parents to go into jannat. and by converting youv'e just done your own parents over. Thirdly your parents brought you up all these years (as a muslim) and you go and convert ('astakfirullah') that's all i can say. And if you don't want them to kill you, your only choice is to convert back to Islam and tell your parents your sorry. Besides that you've got no choice.

As in any faith you will have radicalism who take everything to an extreme.
The Christians killed innocent people at sword point dose that make the message of Christ a lie. Because of a few miss guided fools?
All is that matters is the relationship you have with your maker in you heart.
Don't base a faith on the people base it on the teachings.

It means that your family is mean, and when you tell them their religion is a lie it makes them mad. Don't be rude, and stay away from your mean family. If I told my Christian family that their religion is a lie, they would want to kill me as well. It's not a religion thing; it's just that some individuals are violent and mean.

congratulations, you left one lie for another, how about using your brain and logic next time to reach a decision.
Islam is based on hate and war and bringing peace to the world by making all the world islam. Sounds to me like what hitler wanted to do.
christianity is just full of crap because they take themselves way too seriously and they say one thing, but thier religion says another that logically doesn't make sense (aka the trinity).
