If a person is snooping because he feels that his girlfriend has something to hide and he actually finds something, who is wrong? The person who has hidden something or the person that has snooped?

the person that was hidding something. if you give a person a reason to doupt your trust and honesty, you are opening the door for them to find out what is really going on. the person that was doing the snooping isnt wrong because they were just protecting themselves. the only way that they can be wrong is if they get suspicious because of what other people are saying or if they are taking out their hurt and lack of trust from someone else in the past on the current person.

I understand that the person who has something to hide must seem like they would be the person who is wrong, but I see the person that is wrong is the one that snooped. I mean think about it, no trust from them, and you are going into their personal surroundings, oh no, the person who snooped is wrong. No matter if the other person did have something to hide, it will eventually come out, but snoopoing around makes the other person look bad and desperate. plus, if there is no trust or there is suspicion in the first place, well then it all just began all wrong.

In my opinion it would be the person that is trying to be deceitful or hiding something. Although I do not condone snooping, if your gut tells you something has gone array then sometimes a person just needs to satisfy these feelings.

The person who has hidden something. I look at it like this, if I snoop and catch you cheating, I don't care if you get mad, because you will be my EX anyway.

Well.... If there is no trust, there's no point in hiding anything. Is there a reason why someone has to hide something?? Depends on what the subject is?

If you don't trust her to begin with, what's the point in snooping??

Well if I were the snooper and I found something bad about my husband I wouldn't care if I were wrong or not. If it were bad enough my snooping would be the least of his worries.

Both are at fault. It is wrong to hide and it is wrong to snoop.

Oh please! It's the person that did the wrong thing. Of course, they will try to turn in on you for snooping, but that's just a desperate attempt to divert the attention away from their wrongdoing. Ain't your fault.
