Christ has always been the Son of God, from the very time he was created. He is called the only-begotten son as Jehovah alone created him. Afterwards, Jesus helped creating the other angels, creation, and man.
Genesis 1: 26 says "And God went on to say: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness..." God was talking to another person, who was he?
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth.” (Colossians 1:15, 16)
Yes, it seems logical that at Genesis 1:26, Jehovah was speaking to his only-begotten Son, the “master worker,” who was at his side during the creation of the heavens and the earth. (Proverbs 8:22-31)

Christ was with God from the beginning, Christ was sent as the visible human image of God, God called Him- His Son when He was sent to earth. No other time was Christ refered to as the Son until after His birth in human image.

Jesus Christ ( the Messiah Yeshua ) is Gods gift of salvation ( yeshu'ah) he was called the son of God but was and is one with God. A son for the Jews was the closest relationship they had.

Actually it does not mean that Christ was not son of God but it is written In Bible that on the cross God departed from Jesus because he loved the world.

He was always the Son of God, read the story of Shadrack, Meshack, and Abendego (Daniel Chapter 3) where he is referenced. Also, "The Word" is name used by Christ

Hmm...this supposes you believe Jesus was the son of god...but even if he was....before he was born, he wasn't anything. He didn't have a name or personality. He was just a hunk of god.
