For your first question, 16 Blocks is about cops gone bad doing bad things, but one guy is a witness to their truth and needs to get to the courthouse in order to testify, however, his escort turns out to be one of the bad cops he was going to testify against. That's all I am going to say because it's an awesome movie and I don't want to spoil it for you.

For your second question, the US does not control Iraq. We are merely there to preserve the peace and in doing so teach the Iraqis how to try and keep peace. Unfortunately I don't think we are having an affect there because every day we loose men and women in our military.

No, it's about a cop who has to transport a prisoner 16 blocks to court to testify w/o him getting killed by the bad guys, the ones he's testifying against. It was on OK movie nothing about Iraq though
