I'm scared to take them (had a minor surgery), I hear they make you feel crazy and could be addictive. what's your experience?

They do not make you feel crazy. Like most narcotics, they make you feel really good and very content. Pop a couple of them and find out why so many people love 'em!

You wont get addicted. The people who get addicted are those suffering for a LONG time, or just want to use drugs.
Take a pill. Just do not drive anywhere and do not drink alcohol. Percocet makes you feel good and the pain goes away. They actually made me fall asleep before. If you are afraid to take them but you need one because of serious pain then try half a tablet. Just split it with a butterknive. If you aren't in much pain then don't take them and use tylenol or some other pain reliver that your doctor approves of.

I have them for a kidney stone and they are great. The only problem I have is that they make me itch. which is the number 1 side effect. I can understand why they would be addictive. If you can control your pain w/o them I suggest you do so.

If you take them as directed you will be alright. They sometimes tend to upset some peoples stomaches so eat a little something before you take it and that should help.
