I've liked this guy for at least a year and a half. I know he likes me but, he's holding back bc he thinks my dad doesn't want me dating him. But the truth is my dad likes him alot. My dad is how we met. I want to tell him that he can just ask me out but how??HELP!!!

holy crap, you're a girl. c'mon, do what you girls do best. hint to him! hint to him you like him. play around with him, laugh and smile with him, let him know you want to spend time with him. it shouldn't be that hard in the first place if you know he already likes you anyway! us guys are not complicated. we actually think its very attractive if the girl confronts us first. welcome to the present day. its not all up to the guys to do the asking out anymore. it goes both ways now. hell, YOU could even ask him out if you want him bad enough. hope this helps, good luck!

what is it with girls not wanting to take the first step and ask the guy out instead of waiting for him to do it. if you like him the only way he will ever know is if you tell him. ask him out. be bold. it will put a major boost in you confidence. if he likes you back he will say yes.

how about u make the first move! you have nothing to lose, go for it.
if u're too scared or whatever just drop him some hints about how much your dad likes him. then maybe he'll just ask u.

You can try just saying it straight out face to face, or do it throught the phone. Maybe try and make it special with a gift or candy?
