Is Islam the religion of peace then if we all become Muslims will we start killing each other ?

One of the problems of Islam is that it doesn't have an authority as the pope, so no one can really tell what´s right or not as not everybody reads the Corán in the same way(that´s why there are a wide range of Muslims), Muslims politics use this fact to tell the others that they don´t properly behave as they should(as the Koran says), because 2 Islamic countries could never be in war unless each of them tells the other is not a having a good behavior in religion, but is usually just economical and political facts but they use the religion as an exclusion.
And its not true the Islam is the religion of peace(I´m not saying is a bad religion) but Mahoma made some wars and the Koran talks about the jihad so is not that pacific.

In Iraq, the Shia dominated government refuses to share oil money with the Sunni dominated areas. This, among other things, like hardened criminals "pretending" to be muslims and some crooked politicians causes much oppression and slaughter.
In Palestine, Hamas is trying to make the country non-secular, meanwhile, the president would like to have some relationship with the western world.
It is way more complicated, but there are simple things that people could accept to make the situation more real and more peaceful.

If you look back in Saddams time there wasn't all this fighting...and now bush did war and there is killing...don't you notice this happened all after the war...? And in Gaza they are all Sunni but they are all in the state of cious its politics not religion that starts fire..and no one wants this to happen...this threat is not from Islam its self...I hope you understand this..

A tree is known for it's fruit!! You know that you have an apple tree because it produces apples!! If ANY religion claims to be peaceful but within it's self is devouring and violently destroying it's self, would you say the motives of it's leadership is peaceful???? You be the judge? do you think others would want to embrace that religion?
