Here's three places in the US: The Everglades in Florida, Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia, and Bandon Marsh in Oregon

Sherre, the websites you can look at the internet...but the biggest wetland is the Pantanal in centre of Brazil, a place that gets flooded by the waters from the amazonian rivers. The Chacos is the Spanish name for that.

You could try addressing the whole mississippi delta ecology and hurricaine katrina. the loss of wetland marshes that normally act as hurricaine tidal surge buffers was instrumental in that disaster. Try wikipedia.
