I love the poem you posted, has to be by far the best one I have heard lately. Favorite quote. "A dog is one of the remaining reasons why some people can be persuaded to go for a walk." ~O.A. Battista Favorite poem. Every dog must have a soul Somewhere deep inside Where all his hurts and grievances Are buried with his pride. Where he decides the good and bad, The wrong way from the right, And where his judgment carefully Is hidden from our sight. A dog must have a secret place Where every thought abides, A sort of close acquaintance that He trusts in and confides. And when accused unjustly for Himself, he cannot speak, Rebuked, he finds within his soul The comfort he must seek. He'll love, tho' he is unloved, And he'll serve tho' badly used, And one kind word will wipe away The times when he's abused. Altho' his heart may break in two His love will still be whole, Because God gave to every dog An understanding Soul! -Anonymous BQ:Simply Nourish:)

“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”~

“Anyone who doesn't take truth seriously in small matters cannot be trusted in large ones either.”~

“The value of a man should be seen in what he gives and not in what he is able to receive.” ~

~ Harriet Woods (1927) American Politician

“Happiness is what happens to us when we try to make someone else happy.”

“Any move trying to cover up the cause of the accident and any passive attitude toward the probe are deemed deception and a defiance of law.”

The results of the probe are disturbing, but they are not surprising. People believe what they see or what they think they see. Deception and disguise often work.”

Give to someone and when they try to give back, tell them to give to someone else that needs it….. And let the miracle multiply.

If all the good people were clever,
And all the clever were good.
The world would be better than ever,
We thought that it possibly could.

But, somehow 'tis seldom or ever
The two hit it off as they should.
The good are so harsh to the clever,
The clever so rude to the good.

So friends, let it be our endeavor
To make each by each understood,
For few can be good, like the clever,
Or clever, so well as the good!!

One of my favourite Christmas quotations is (in part):

For unto us a Son is given
and He is called 'God with us'.
For those of us who believe,
the whole world is decorated with love.

And touched with Joy.

Thanks be to God.

Amen.
