those are useless. 50 games probably you have to sign up with aol to play them. And most of those games you can play online for free anyway.

I would stay far away from AOL for internet service. Once you get an account it is damn near impossible to cancel and they tend to overcharge. They attempted to put me in collections for a cancelled account twice. Those free trial disks are bad news. If you want a great dialup provider give Netzero a try.

AOL is the spawn of the devil, and the cd probably includes all sorts of weird spyware and nonsense programs/advertisements. Once you install AOL, it's nearly impossible to get rid of it completely.

No AOL CD is worth picking up. Don't do it. They trap you, and you can never get away.

They are free, right? So, yes, you can pick them up. Still, that doesn't necessarily mean that you should. Also note that there is a chance that they will want you to register something before you can do anything with it.
