we did a secret santa at work, the limit was $15. i got a dvd that was $14, and i was gonna add a little trinket but i totally forgot, and just gave the gift. do u think the person would/should be mad?

Well, a DVD is so subjective. What if the person doesn't like the movie. I hope they do. They shouldn't get mad. Next time, just buy a gift card to a restuarant. If they don't like the food, at least they could have a couple of drinks or just re-gift it!

no they shouldn't be mad, the limit was $15..a DVD is a good gift. so u spent $1 less unless u show the recent no one will know.....as for would they get mad? depends on what kinda person they are.

You don't get it - the max limit was $15. You didn't have to spend all 15 dollars. You could have spend $5 on something nice enough. No one should be mad for getting free stuff.

Of course not. You aren't required to spend EXACTLY $15.00; it's just a guideline. A DVD is a wonderful gift.
