Yes it would; however, mandatory prayer in public is not constitutional. Students may pray on their own time, but it can't be lead by staff during school hours. I don't know where people get the idea that prayer is not allowed in public schools.
Schools do allow Christian prayer groups and Bible study groups to meet on campus, usually before classes begin, and they are required to let non-Christian groups meet as well. The treatment is supposed to be fair for students regardless of religion. If the séance requires candles, it may not be permitted just because of the school's code about prohibited items. However, if the séance doesn't require any materials that are prohibited, then the school would have to allow the students to meet.

Depends on each particular countries constitution, if they have a constitution at all, here in the USA school prayer isn’t constitutional and neither is a séance because they are both a religious practice.

Both are constitutional, but prayer is not allowed just a moment of silence in school. Some atheist from Austin, TX got the Lord's prayer thrown out of school. Just about every university diploma at one time had "in the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and ----."
Try your seance and watch the school board get flooded with calls from us Christians. We've swallowed Harry Potter but seances may take us over the edge.

It's one thing to recognize that many Americans consider their religious practices an essential part of their lives and make reasonable allowances of time for those practices. It's another thing entirely to allow whole church services or elaborate and lengthy rituals that can (and should) be practiced outside of school hours. The primary purpose of school is getting an education. A moment of silence is one thing; a seance, taking of communion, or burnt sacrifice is another.
If you're talking about an extracurricular seance--if the school allows prayer meetings on school grounds after hours, then it shouldn't deny a seance under the same circumstances.

As long as it didn't disrupt learning time (unless prayer is allowed to disrupt learning time). In fact, wouldn't that be a great way to learn about history!

If the goverment allows citizens to follow their religion, then making prayer unconstetutional anywhere is unconstetutional in itself. The bible asks for us to be in prayer at all times. If we are not allowed, then freedom of religion is discarded.

School prayers are only allowed in religious schools, Public Schools do not allow school prayer.
So I guess if you were going to some kind or weird a** gypsy fortune telling school, their would be nothing wrong with Seances in class.

convinced. shall we examine the first change. "Congress shall make no regulation respecting an institution of religion, or prohibiting the free exercising thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the click; or of the human beings peaceably to convey mutually, and to petition the authorities for a redress of grievances." Now, the question is, once you've college prayer are you organising a State faith? and in case you limit college prayer are you prohibiting the free exercising thereof? So the Muslin youngsters get footbaths, the Sieks get to carry knives, in spite of the undeniable fact that the Christians can't pray. or actually have the alternative of praying. considering that we are "going there" Why is it alright to do a "flag salute" yet no longer pray? What if you're offend by technique of the pledge of allegiance? Why do you may youngster could take a seat and hear to it time-honored, no matter if he doesn't could take area? no matter if that is sturdy sufficient for the flag salute, why no longer a prayer? once again, lifestyles is a lot from undemanding. What even makes one individual satisfied, will tick off some thing else.
