God is never lazy.
God does not "recruit" believers.
God transforms human spirits from sinful to godly.
God gives His free gift of eternal life to those who believe in Him.
He will even help YOU become "born again".....
yes, even YOU!

Because if someone in the present day came up with the stories that are in the bible, nobody would believe them (rightfully so). And since the bible stories were man made, no more stories that people will believe are going to come out. On the other hand, there is always some crazy group of people that will believe anything you tell them. Like a man getting eating by a whale and surviving, or one person fitting two of every living creature in the entire world on one ship, or a person being born by someone who was a virgin, or that if you are good you will go to an after life where everything is made of gold and pearls, ect. I could go on all day. Are the bible stories really any more believable than the Mythology stories that we so quickly discount from other cultures?

~~~Bistro,,, Your god is as weak as the human characteristics you attribute to him. This is the result of Anthropomorphism. Here's your bone,,,get an Education in Mythology and your Theology won't go begging for a bone,,, or Manna from heaven. Now go fetch your Self.
What? He did that for you, too! He says you are without excuse He has made Himself manifest in His creation. He gave you the Bible and sent His bride (the church) and the Holy Spirit to witness to you. If you want to know if He is real? Ask Him humbly to show you Himself, and read His Word. He said Faith cometh through hearing and hearing through the Word of the Lord.
He doesn't owe us nothing. We owe Him all we are and have, yet He will not take it from us. He leaves it to us to give it to Him, then He blesses us with all we need and more than we can imagine.
God doesn't recruit new believers, He has believers tell other people of the gospel. It's evangelism. What He did on the Cross, giving infinite grace and mercy for our sins if we believe in Him, lasts forever. His grace and mercy even existed before Jesus died on the cross. Jesus does not need to die agian to show us salvation.
God is slow to anger,and abounding in love, wanting EVERYONE to come to the knowledge of the truth, that is why Jesus has not come back yet, to give each of us time to repent and become believers in the one true God.
Thats because we (Christians) are supposed to represent Him
2 Corinthians 5:20
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
