Go ahead, just do whatever you want. You are so care for him. What did he do for you? I think a massager is fine. It is what you want to send to him, and it is also you think he need. That's enough. If he still can't be satisfied, that means he is the man with big stomach, difficultly to fill in. Then I suggest you to think over your relationship very carefully.

I think your boyfriend might be feeling really bad in that he assumes you bought him something expensive and he maybe does not have the money to buy you something nice. You could try and make him understand that you bought him the gift in the spirit of Christmas, not the need to get gifts from him. You did give it alot of thought because of his back problems. Give it to him anyway, and if he finally tells you he feels bad because he can't get you something, tell him that is not the reason you gave him a gift.

I guess what some guys don't understand is that some women really just want to give a good gift with no obligations. Tell him to stop being a big baby. You know he is capable of getting stuff for himself, he really needs not to say that. If he doesn't come around use it to whack some sense into him.

Take it back and get him nothing. If it upset him that much then don't spend money on him. Nothing. Just tell him Merry Christmas. I doubt he got you anything. Don't feel bad about it either. Maybe he can't afford to get you anything. I wouldn't sweat it. Those massagers your talking about or about $100, so yeah, that's kinda pricey for some people. Find someone who appreciates gift giving.

It's horrible that he is treating you this way. Sounds like he wasn't planning on getting you anything, so he's upset that you got him something. You put a lot of thought and effort into it - and it is a gift - meaning you didn't expect something in return. So I would say just give it to him. Then, afterwards, when you confirm he's a cheap jerk who never planned on getting anything you can dump him.

Give him the present with the receipt that way if he doesn't like he can exchange for something else perhaps he felt bad for he didn't get you a big gift and this is his way of acting out for feeling bad and guilt HUGS

Give him the gift and tell him he better like it. You didn't discuss ahead of time that you would not buy gifts, so fair game. If he's being ungreatful, then kick him to the curb.
