i recently contacted my ex girlfriend from 3 years ago, we didnt really end in good terms we had a real big beef its not like i
cheated or did something real bad it was in high school and there was a lot of drama...so talkin about it we worked it out and settled our diffrences as 2 grown adults..and for some reason she so excited to talk to me and hang out and catch up on old times...but i just found out that shes talkin to someone....i honestly contacted her so maybe we could see if theres a chance...should i take a risk and see if there is a chance?

find out if she's serious with that "someone"
if she is, then just be casual friends with her
if she isn't, still don't do it since there's this history (bad from i can tell) between you 2 so it's probably not a good idea to start up the relationship again...

Yes. You said she's talking to someone, not that she's in a relationship.
Be up front with her about what you're looking for.
If she's not interested you won't be losing much, you haven't had her in your life for the last three years and you'll have your resolution.
If she is interested you guys can pick up where you left off.

Almost the same thing happened to me. My ex gf from almost 10 years ago has started calling me. We both have told eachother that if we lived in the same state, we would be back together. I say go for it. It is up to her who she wants to be with. If she is talking to another guy, and she chooses you, so be it.
