Make your parents give you access to a computer with Internet service so You can talk to your dad and see him via web cam and he can see you. The two of you could even play games and build the bond between you. The ability to speak freely to each other and keep up on what is going on in each of your lives would naturally make both of you feel better. It is also cheaper in the long run than phone calls.

Send cards and other things. Sometimes, if you miss someone you can look at a picture of them. That helps. E-mail him. If God made internet for any reason it's too keep a family together.

See him whenever you can and make the most of those occasions. In between, e-mail and telephone to stay in touch.
