If Jesus trusted and had faith in this person completely and without reservation, should we not trust this person as well?

Granted Jesus is God we know that, yet He did rely and trust on this person extraordinarily above other humans in the world.

So, this seems a clever question, trying to trick someone into a statement that you'll lead somewhere else after it's answered.

Anyway, you can't ask a question like that and expect a single answer. People trust others for different things, depending on the circumstances.

Obviously, he (assuming he was a god) trusted his mother to deliver and care for him. He trusted Joseph as a child trusts a father, to provide a home, clothin, food... physical needs.

He trusted Judas to betray him, which seems to have been a necessary part of his story.

He trusted his disciples to carry on his message and testify to his assenceion.

Necessarily, he would have trusted other people for other purposes, including Mary Magdelene. He trusted Joseph of Arimethea. Whatever. I think it's a trick question anyway, but that's my response.

The beloved the disciple. Besides Mary the mother of Jesus and other women, he was the only disciple at the foot of the cross. The others fled and deserted Jesus. The gospel of John is attributed to him. Of course you can trust him. You can even ask him to pray for you.

All humans can fail you - complete trust in any human will eventually let you down - complete trust in God will never let you down. Jesus trusted His Father in Heaven. But I think His best friend was John.

I don't think the bible picks a certain person Jesus trusted above all others. He trusted the women who helped him such as his mother and Mary Magdalene as well as his disciples.
I think we should focus on Jesus above all others.

Jesus never said it, but he trusted Buddha would save Heaven from being over-populated.

Actually it is to have faith in Jesus not the other way around. His most trusted one was probably the one who prepared the way for him, which would be John the Baptist.
